The Planning Partnership provided services in relation to securing planning permission for a once-off rural house in the Lusk area of North County Dublin in association with Cooney Architects.
The development of rural dwellings in this area is subject to strict compliance with rural housing policy however in this instance the site and wider landholding was also effectively sterilised from development arising from a previous planning permission granted on adjacent lands in the 1980’s. Four attempts had been made to secure planning permission for dwellings on the sterilised lands between 1991 and 1999, all of which failed.
The Planning Partnership provided the planning expertise to set out a robust rationale for the granting of planning permission in the subject case and planning permission was granted accordingly in June 2012.
