In association with Corbel Architecture, and Kieran J Barry and Associates Consulting Engineers, Wessel acted as lead planning advisor, working closely with the applicant in the preparation of the proposed development for which the Planning Application was lodged in April 2012.
The demolition of the existing habitable house (although in a rapid deteriorating state), will make way for its replacement of similar scale. The nature of the site also facilitates the development of the “gate lodge” at the location of an historic gate lodge (now demolished) and two modern mews units, designed to be ‘inward looking’ with living rooms enjoying dual aspect light.
