Bishopstown House acquired by Paddy Dunning of the Grouse Lodge Recording Studios, Button Factory and Waxworks Museum initially for a family house and later intended as a holiday residence for musician Michael Jackson prior to his untimely death was subject to enforcement action. Mark represented Mr. Dunning in regularising unauthorised works and additions to the House and defending Mr. Dunning through presentation of Affidavits in the District Court and defence against neighbouring resident’s Section 160 Injunction enforcement actions.
Mark acted as lead planning advisor and in association with his Client’s legal team of Damien Keaney BL and Martin E. Marren Solicitors successfully defended Mr. Dunning through the District Court process and achieved 2 no. retention and amendment permissions to the dwelling and associated tourist based facilities of a stable block and courtyard offices. Final planning permissions were gained in January 2012.
